How It All Began

The roots of Remarkable Tech Outreach trace back to the heart of Marietta, Georgia. A time when suburban life offered a sense of community and boundless opportunities for young minds. Emmanuel Sieh, our visionary founder, spent his formative years immersed in this evolving setting, finding solace and adventure at the nearby Elizabeth Porter Center.

This community hub was more than just a building; it was a cornerstone of the neighborhood. Laughter, friendship, and a sense of belonging filled its halls. From spirited ping pong matches to the thrill of video game competitions, the Porter Center was a sanctuary for young minds seeking escape and entertainment.

Yet, as the world evolved, so too did the challenges faced by our communities. The digital age dawned, promising infinite possibilities but leaving many behind. The once vibrant playgrounds began to empty as screens replaced outdoor adventures. It was in this shifting landscape that Emmanuel recognized a pressing need: to bridge the digital divide and empower the next generation with the skills to thrive in the modern world.

With a burning passion to create a brighter future, Remarkable Tech Outreach was born. Our mission was clear: to cultivate a haven where young minds could flourish, explore the boundless potential of technology, and become the architects of tomorrow.

What Inspires us?

A Deeper Look in Remarkable Tech Outreach Humble Beginnings

Our CEO Emmanuel Sieh Graduated from Marietta High School with the class of 2005. He would routinely volunteer with events at the Elizabeth Porter Center aka The Canteen.

Emmanuel worked at STS aka as Utiliquest as a Damage Prevention Specialist. He was only 19 when he started this job. He was given a truck, laptop, Nextel Chirp, and locating equipment.

This is a lot of responsibility for a young person but growing up in Marietta and going to the best schools from Lemon Street Head Start, Lockheed Elementary, Marietta Middle, Marietta High School, and Chattahoochee Technical College prepared him at a young age to take on those responsibilities.

After working at STS for 3 years he would then go on to work at Sprint for 2 years as a Technical Business Customer Support Tier II on the helpdesk. He would go on to take a short contract with WellStar on the service desk.

After the contract ended he ended up working at IBM as a Technical Remote Support Engineer. From there he went on to work at Kaiser Permante on the Helpdesk.

After working there he then worked at Floyd Medical Center on the Service Desk for 2 years. He than made the switch to WellStar Health Care Systems. In which he worked as a IT Field Technician for 3 years.

He then moved on to Amaris Consulting in which he worked as a IT Lab Support Consultant for a year before working independently as an IT consultant for his own Company Nerdgillent.

Throughout the different experiences that Emmanuel faced and seen he decided that to many people are hurting for jobs and the homeless population is steadily growing. Emmanuel wanted to make a difference in his community and decided to start Remarkable Tech Outreach.

His approach to IT is to get those with NO EXPERIENCE get experience by starting with basic skills within IT. His goal is to get people into IT by starting with Wire Management.

Emmanuel have notice at many companies are in dire need of wire management and some type of organizing of tangled wires underneath desk and MDF network closets. He knows that he can teach anybody to properly wrap and secure wires to make them look nice and neat and part of the work environment.

His target age group to teach these skills to are between the ages of 16-60 years old. By having such a wide age range he could tackle the employment issues, giving young people an opportunity to earn money, and help with prison reform as new prisoners are released they can learn a new skill that could help them to acquiesce back into society and become a productive member in society immediately. He plans on teaching a simple but basic skill and it involves Wire Management. Anybody can do it and its highly duplicatable which will allow this service to help service our community and provide opportunities for many.

This approach is simple and direct. With Emmanuel's vision he will assure that our future will be filled with many opportunities to grow in tech like he did.
